Ben Lee is the co-founder and CEO of Neon Roots, a digital development agency with a mission to destroy the development model and rebuild it from the ground up. After a brief correspondence with Fidel Castro at age nine, Ben decided to start doing things his own way, going from busboy to club manager at a world-class nightclub before he turned 18. Since then, Ben has founded or taken a leading role in 5 businesses in everything from software development to food and entertainment.

Patrick, from our Neon Roots Los Angeles team, was front and center at CRS 2013 in Nashville this week.  The Country Radio Seminar (CRS) is an annual event that brings in some of the biggest names on the country music charts to celebrate the growth of the industry and to enhance the relationship between country radio and country music.  We were honored to be a part of the CRS this year by creating a custom Social Media Command Center for the event.

The tone was set when the event opened with the National Anthem sung by Little Big Town.  Awards, scholarships, and honorable mentions were a part of the celebration with the 2013 Artist Humanitarian Award going to American country music duo Big & Rich. The conference also included more than 20 panel discussions, exhibits, educational seminars and speakers from the world of country music and radio.

Patrick sent back some great pics of the backstage rehearsals, lunchtime concerts, and our Social Media Command Center in action at CRS 2013.  Check ’em out!
