CEO and Co-founder of Neon Roots

Ben Lee is the co-founder and CEO of Neon Roots, a digital development agency with a mission to destroy the development model and rebuild it from the ground up. After a brief correspondence with Fidel Castro at age nine, Ben decided to start doing things his own way, going from busboy to club manager at a world-class nightclub before he turned 18. Since then, Ben has founded or taken a leading role in 5 businesses in everything from software development to food and entertainment.

For electronic dance music lovers, Size Records and Steve Angello need no introduction but for those of you out of the dance loop, here’s a quick briefing.  Size Records is the music label led by Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia and both the collection of artists at Size Records and Steve Angello himself are some of the most sought-after, groundbreaking musicians in the world of electronic music.

NeonRoots recently built a brand-specific augmented reality app for Size Records which is being referred to as “dance music’s first Augmented Reality (AR) experience”.  It was launched last weekend at the Electric Daisy Carnival, a major electronic dance party in NYC. We love the feedback we’ve been getting all week on this AR app and we’re really happy to deliver a product that connects fans deeper to their music while also introducing them to the growing world of augmented reality apps.

This augmented reality app invites fans to explore the music and artists of Size Records through 3D animation including artist profiles, sample tracks, and an interactive artist roster.  It’s free and available in the iTunes store but you can grab it here.  It’s simple use.

•    Download the ‘Size Matters’ application from the iTunes store.
•    Open the app on your mobile device.
•    Point your mobile device at the pre-defined target. (here)
•    Experience Size Records through augmented reality.
